The upper-middle-class residential building on Sophienstrasse in the Zurich Hottingen district has a largely original building fabric. The spacious flats on the main floors will be gently renovated and equipped with modern building services.
On the attic floor, an overheight hall will be built up to the roof. The library is located in the gallery. The gallery and hall will be lit via four existing skylights. The former gable roof will be cut down to the upper truss level so that the uppermost flat will have a roof terrace.
